This is Helsinki as most visitors never see it. Away from the city streets, aboard a Finnish-built Nord Star 31 Patrol, your private captain guides you through the highlights of the archipelago: the silhouette of the old city from the water, the sea fortress of Suomenlinna, and the quiet outer islands where the Baltic opens up around you.

The Sunset Cruise is built around that light. Your captain times the route to bring you to open water as the sky turns amber and the sea goes still. We find a quiet anchorage — the Golden Light Stop — where you sit with your drink, watch the horizon, and let the evening do the rest.
